ATP/CTP (Order Promising) & Allocation

This function deals with the order request. In order to calculate total demand, customer orders are linked to different demand types (such as forecast, reservations, quotas, and so on). by means of Order Allocation (interactive or automatic). Order Promising suggests confirmed dates for order requests, based on ATP and/or CTP logic. Available-to-Promise (ATP) looks at non-reserved planned inventory while Capable-to-Promise (CTP) can commit net available capacity.
