Niko chooses OM Partners to enhance its Sales Forecasting Process

Niko has selected OMP Plus to make its Sales Forecasting Process more robust. The solution went live this summer and includes 2-way SAP integration, Statistical Forecasting, Promotions Management and Product Life Cycle to help forecast Niko's different business lines and distribution channels.

Thanks to Statistical Forecasting and the use of the Expert System, Niko was able to improve forecasting accuracy, while allowing users to adapt the calculated forecast manually where needed. Promotions Management is used effectively for introducing and managing promotions. Past Promotions are automatically considered as Outliers and removed from the sales history. The phasing in and out of Niko's products is managed with the help of Product Life Cycle.

Robrecht Paridaens, Group IT Director at Niko, states: "Among the abundant OMP Plus Forecasting functionality we successfully use valorization. Future prices are determined by extrapolating past sales prices into the future. The forecast is then used to prepare our S&OP meetings."
