The Demand Driven Institute (DDI) has evaluated OMP and confirmed DDMRP compliance. Compliance criteria can be consulted via the website of the DDI.

Demand Driven Material Requirements Planning (DDMRP) is a multi-echelon planning method and one of the many planning methods supported in OMP. DDMRP combines some aspects of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) with the pull and visibility emphasis found in Lean and the Theory of Constraints and the variability reduction of Six Sigma.

To support its customers with DDMRP initiatives and other planning methodologies, OMP continues to invest in DDMRP training and the hiring of DDMRP certified supply chain professionals. Additionally, OMP is currently sponsoring a research project related to DDMRP at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
